Gaia Version 1.1 Released

October 18th, 2007 by Steven Sacks

The Gaia Framework for Adobe Flash is back and better than ever! The temporary restraining order imposed upon me was dissolved by the court and I am again free to distribute Gaia and the forums are back online.

The newest version of Gaia, version 1.1 is now available for download at

Gaia 1.1 is a major release, and contains many significant improvements and fantastic new features to reduce development time even further and greatly improve your workflow.

One of the best new features in Gaia 1.1 is Class Scaffolding. Gaia now generates AS2 classes for all of your pages and you get to choose between Inheritance or Composition Design Pattern styles.

The scaffolding engine has been greatly improved and scaffolding is now externalized from the templates files. These improvements result in faster scaffolding and getting you started that much faster.

There are a ton of updates and new features, far too many to list here, so click the link above to see the release notes.
