On the Mac version of Flash CS4, if you scroll up and down while hovering over a property, you can increment and decrement it by 1. If you hold the shift key, you do it by 10. So, you can type in a position, then use the mouse wheel to tweak it up or down into position. Just found something really nice. I work on a Mac and I can't tell you how many times I got the "the value has to be between blank and blank, invalid position" error when typing in x/y coordinates in the property panel. I haven't used Flash on windows in ages and forgot that was the way it was. this would definitely be a good addition. I've gotten used to having to re-click in there or ctrl+a like you said but it does seem annoying now that you've pointed it out :P Oh man, I thought I was the only one annoyed by this.
