Gaia 3.0 now available for download

January 20th, 2009 by Steven Sacks

The highly anticipated release of Gaia 3 is available now! It has an entirely new panel, written in Adobe Flex, which runs in both Flash CS3 and Flash CS4.

The new panel is a major step forward in workflow, including project management, optimization features, and a new publish panel which makes developing with Gaia even easier!

Gaia 3 also features the brand new version of SWFAddress 2.3, which helps mitigate the Firefox 3 OSX redraw bug (thanks Rostislav!), as well as the latest TweenMax 3.6.

Screenshots and detailed descriptions of the new panel's features can be found here.

But wait, there's more!

Wade Arnold's team at T8DESIGN have developed an awesome AIR application which enables you to visually generate your site.xml file. The first version is available for download now.

I am about to delve into Gaia and love what I see so far!

I am used to create assets in Flash CS4 and then switch to Flex Builder to do all the coding. I can't quite wrap my head around how to do this with Flex and need a little kickstart. Can anyone post a link or a few helpful words regarding this issue?

    Much appreciated.
