Gaia 3.0.9 – Strictly Typed goto and more

March 23rd, 2009 by Steven Sacks

Gaia 3.0.9 contains some requested feature updates, including an auto-generated static class for strictly-typed goto(), pre-site.xml-load initialization, a bug fix for the panel, and a fix for the scaffolding issue in Flash CS4 where the background would appear blank.

Another exciting announcement is that the Gaia Framework documentation is in the process of being translated into several languages, including (thus far) Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Japanese, with Italian, French, Turkish, and Polish starting soon. Special thanks to all the volunteers who are helping with this effort.

If you would like to help with any of the above languages or one that is not currently being translated, please reply to this post on the forum.

The Gaia Panel will be translated into these languages during this process, as well!

I have installed the Gaia Framework in Flash CS 4 (via Extension Manager 4), but Gaia does not show up under Window -> Other Panels (Mac OS X 10.5.6).
I can however install this latest version in Flash CS 3.
