Yes, I understand the -4,-4 move (it's how Windows cuts off the rounded corners when maximized). The stage size matches the available size, yes.

The one-pixel-shy issue seems to happen on the second monitor when the 1st monitor is set to landscape (normal), and the 2nd monitor is set to portrait (rotated 90 degrees). It's really not a big deal and the resize on minimize is far more important.

The 160x31 resize issue is indeed a bug, and one that's already fixed in AIR 2.

The move to -4,-4 when maximizing, although odd, is expected behavior on Windows; it has the effect of moving the system chrome off-screen. You should nonetheless find that the stage size matches the screen size in this case.

We can't reproduce the one-pixel-shy issue you mention. If you could file a report on that via www.adobe.com/go/wish, we'll take another look.

thanks,
Oliver Goldman

Thanks, Rob! I appreciate the attention to this issue. If you can manage to fix this in the AIR 2 release, that would be awesome.

All I can do is mitigate the issues. There's no guarantee that Adobe will fix these bugs in a timely fashion and I've got a product to launch.
